Enter symbols & numbers

To enter many numbers

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, tap the 12!? key.
  2. Tap the number keys you want to use.
  3. Tap the Abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.

 

To enter one or a few numbers

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, touch and hold the letter key that contains the number you want to use.
  2. Release your finger. The number assigned to the key will appear in the text field.

 

To enter many symbols

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, tap the 12!?key.
  2. Tap the symbol key(s) you want to use.
  3. Tap the +=$ key for more symbols.
  4. Tap the Abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.

 

To enter one or a few symbols

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, touch and hold on the key containing the desired symbol.
  2. Release your finger. The symbol assigned to the key will appear in the text field.

 

 

Text entry mode

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Keyboard settings > Text input settings.
  3. If necessary, select one of the following options to edit:
    • My words
    • Word suggestions
  4. Select or clear the check boxes for the following options:
    • Automatic space
    • Quick fixes
    • Gesture input
    • Space between gestures

 

 

Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From the alphabet keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Keyboard settings > Sound and vibration.
  3. Select or clear the Vibration on keypress check box.
