Learn how to block, delete and save SMS / MMS messages on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

 

 

 

Block messages or spam

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Settings > Block numbers and messages > Block numbers.
  3. Manually enter number and tap the + plus sign or choose from Inbox or Contacts.
  4. When finished, tap the back arrow.

 

Unblock messages

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Settings > Block numbers and messages > Block numbers.
  3. Tap the minus sign next to the number you want to remove.
  4. When finished, tap the back arrow.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

Delete a message thread

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Touch and hold the message thread you wish to delete.
  3. Tap the Trash Can icon, then tap DELETE.

 

Delete an individual message inside a conversation

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the message thread you want to delete the message from.
  3. Touch and hold the message you wish to delete.
  4. Tap the Delete > DELETE.

  2. Touch and hold the message thread you wish to delete.
  3. Tap the Trash Can icon, then tap DELETE.

 

Delete an individual message inside a conversation

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the message thread you want to delete the message from.
  3. Touch and hold the message you wish to delete.
  4. Tap the Delete > DELETE.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the conversation thread containing the message you want to save.
  3. Touch and hold the picture you want to save.
  4. Tap Save attachment.
  5. Tap the file name to select the the check box.
  6. Tap Save.
  7. The image is now stored in your Gallery in the 'download' folder.

 

SMS service center number

Note: You cannot change the service center number. Follow the below steps to view the current number.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Settings > More settings > Text messages.
  3. View the number under Message center.
