Use these steps to support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

 

 

 

Clear app cache and data

Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

 

  1. From any home screen, swipe up to view all Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Apps, then tap on the desired app.
  3. Tap Storage and tap on one of the following options:
    • Clear data
    • Clear cache.

 

Update apps

To update apps downloaded from the Google Play store, see Update your Android apps - Google Play Help. To update apps downloaded from Samsung Galaxy Apps, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any home screen, swipe up to view all Apps.
  2. Tap Samsung > Galaxy Apps.
  3. Tap the Menu icon with three dots at the top right, then tap My apps > Update.
  4. Tap the icon on the right to update an individual app, or tap Update All to update all apps.

 

Clear recent apps

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Switch App icon in the bottom left corner.
  2. Tap the X on any app to close it. Tap Close All to close all apps.

 

Uninstall app

  1. From any Home screen, swipe up to view all Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Apps.
  3. Tap the desired application
  4. Tap Uninstall > OK.
