Battery saving mode

  1. From any home screen, swipe up to view all Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Device maintenance > Battery.
  3. Tap one of the power saving mode options:
    • OFF
    • MID
    • MAX

  1. From any home screen, swipe up to view all Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Device maintenance > Battery.
  3. Tap the following options to adjust:
    • Unmonitored apps: Apps that won't be suggested to be put to sleep
    • Always sleeping apps: Apps that will never be able to run in the background

 

Tips to save battery life

  • Change application sync settings.
  • Lower screen brightness and timeout duration.
  • Toggle from 4G to 2G.
  • Turn off background data.
  • Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Smartphone Mobile Hotspot.
  • Uninstall unused apps.
  • Update to the latest software.

 

Set device to sleep when unused

Press and then quickly release the Power key to set the screen to sleep mode.
