Auto-update time (NITZ)

The default setting for your device is to automatically update the time zone. To set the device clock to automatically update based on what time zone it is in, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Settings > General management > Date and time.
  3. Tap the Automatic date and time slider to turn on.

  2. Tap Settings > General management > Date and time.
  3. Tap the Automatic date and time slider to turn on
  4. Tap Set date to set the date. When finished, tap DONE.
  5. Tap Set time to set the time. When finished, tap DONE.
  6. If desired, tap Select time zone to change the time zone.
  7. If desired, tap to enable the 24-hour format slider.
