Learn how to connect to Bluetooth on the Samsung Galaxy S9.

Pair

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Settings > Connections.
  3. Tap the Bluetooth switch to turn on.
  4. Tap Bluetooth. The device scans for and displays the IDs of all available Bluetooth devices in range.
  5. If your mobile device stops scanning before your Bluetooth device is ready, tap SCAN.
  6. Tap the Bluetooth device in the AVAILABLE DEVICES list to pair with your phone.
  7. Follow the instructions to complete the pairing.
  8. If you’re prompted to enter a passcode, try entering 0000 or 1234, the most common passcodes, or consult the documentation that came with the device.
  9. If the pairing is successful, your phone connects to the Bluetooth device.
