Edge panels

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Settings > Display.
  3. Tap Edge screen.
  4. Tap Edge panels.
  5. Move the slider to ON.
  6. Place checks in the following options:
    • Apps edge
    • People edge
    • Smart select
    • Clipboard edge
    • Reminder
    • Device maintenance
    • Tasks edge
    • Weather
    • Quick Tools
    • Calendar
    • Samsung Internet
    • Sports
    • Finance
    • CNN
    • Samsung MILK Music
    • Support & More
    • DOWNLOAD
  7. Tap the 3 dot icon > Handle settings.
  8. Adjust following options:
    • Drag the handle upward or downward to position the panel
    • Position
    • Size
    • Transparency
    • Vibration
  9. Tap the 3 dot icon > Reorder.
  10. Use the arrows at the top of the selected panels to move them into the position you want.
  11. Tap the 3 dot icon > Uninstall.
  12. Tap the red minus sign to uninstall any downloaded panels.

 

Edge lighting

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Settings > Display.
  3. Tap Edge screen.
  4. Tap Edge lighting.
  5. Move the slider to On.
  6. Check one of the following options:
    • When screen is on
    • When screen is off
    • Always
    • Manage notifications > Move the slider to ON for individual apps
