Clear cache / cookies / history

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Tap the 3 dot icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Scroll to ADVANCED, then tap Privacy.
  6. Tap CLEAR BROWSING DATA.
  7. Select on ore more of the following:
    • Clear the Cache
    • Clear cookies, site data
    • Clear browsing data
  8. Tap Clear.

 

Open / close tabs / windows

 

Open a new window

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Tap the 3 dot icon.
  4. Tap New tab to add a window.

 

Close an existing window

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Right of the address bar is a box with a number of open windows, tap this box.
  4. Tap the X in the right corner of the windows you want to close.

 

Turn on / off JavaScript

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
  2. Tap Chrome.
  3. Tap the 3 dots icon.
  4. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  5. Under ADVANCED, tap Site settings.
  6. Select JavaScript and move the slider to ON or OFF.
