Learn how to block, delete and save SMS / MMS messages on the OnePlus 8T+ 5G.

 

Block messages or spam

From settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Menu > Spam.
  3. Tap Settings > Blocked blacklist > Add + icon.
  4. Enter the phone number, then tap Ok.

 

Unblock messages

From settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Menu > Spam.
  3. Tap Settings > Blocked blacklist > X icon.
  4. Tap UNBLOCK to continue.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Open the message thread containing the picture message.
  3. Press and hold on the image, then tap the trash can icon.
  4. Tap DELETE to remove the image.

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Press and hold on the message thread, then tap the trash can icon.
  3. Tap DELETE to remove the image.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap on the message thread containing the image you want to save.
  3. Press and hold on the image, then tap Save. The image will save to your Photo gallery.

 

SMS service center number

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Menu > Settings.
  3. Under ADVANCED, view the SMSC number.
