Emergency alerts

You can turn Emergency Alert messages on or off on your phone. Presidential are always on and cannot be turned off.

  1. From the Home screen swipe up, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications > Advanced > Wireless emergency alerts.
  3. Select to turn on/off the following options:
    • AMBER alerts
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • Public safety messages
    • State/local test

Incoming email

  1. From the Home screen swipe up, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications > Notifications.
  3. Scroll to and tap Gmail or Email.
  4. Move the slider to ON then tap Default (Make sound) > Sound then select desired sound, tap OK.

Ringtones

Ringtone for all calls

  1. From the Home screen swipe up, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications > Notifications.
  3. Scroll to and tap Phone.
  4. Move the slider to ON then tap Default (Make sound) > Sound then select desired sound, tap OK.

Ringtone for calls from one contact

You cannot assign a ringtone to contacts stored on the SIM card or phone (device memory).

  1. From the Home screen swipe up, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap desired contact.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Set ringtone.
  5. Tap to select desired ringtone, then OK.
