Clear cache / cookies / history

  1. From any Home screen, tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the Menu icon at the top right.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under 'Advanced', tap Privacy > CLEAR BROWSING DATA > ADVANCED.
  5. Select the options to clear:
    • Cache images and files
    • Cookies & Site data
    • Browsing History
    • Saved passwords
    • Autofill form data
    • Site settings
    • Media Licenses
  6. Tap CLEAR DATA.

Open / close tabs / windows

  1. From any Home screen, tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the Menu icon at the top right.
  3. Tap New tab.
  4. To close a tab, tap the boxed number in the upper left corner of the window to display open tabs then tap the X in the upper left-hand corner of the window.

Turn on / off JavaScript

  1. From any Home screen, tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the Menu icon at the top right.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under 'Advanced', tap Site settings > JavaScript.
  5. Set 'JavaScript' to on or off by sliding the toggle.
