Use these steps to support network settings on the moto G7 power.

APN & data settings

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Mobile network > Advanced > Access Point Names.
  3. Tap Plus icon to add a new APN. The default APN is named 'T-Mobile US' and has these settings:
    • Name: T-Mobile
    • APN: fast.t-mobile.com
    • Proxy: [Not set]
    • Port: [Not set]
    • Username: [Not set]
    • Password: [Not set]
    • Server: [Not set]
    • MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    • MMS proxy: [Not set]
    • MMS port: [Not set]
    • MCC: 310
    • MNC: 260
    • Authentication type: [Not set]
    • APN type: default,supl,hipri,fota,mms
    • APN protocol: IPv6
    • APN roaming protocol: IPv4
    • APN enable/disable: Enabled
    • MVNO type: None
    • MVNO value: [Not set]

Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Mobile network > Advanced.
  3. Tap the switch next to Automatically select network to turn it off.
  4. The device will search for available networks. When it finishes, tap the desired network.

Switch 2G / 4G

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Mobile network > Advanced.
  3. Tap Preferred network type and choose from the following options:
    • LTE on (Automatic LTE/3G/2G)
    • LTE/3G
    • 2G Only

Turn on / off airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows app and menu use, but prevents voice or Internet use.

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Advanced.
  3. Tap the switch next to Airplane mode to turn on or off.

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Mobile network.
  3. Tap the switch next to Roaming to turn data roaming on or off.

Turn on / off mobile data

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet > Mobile network.
  3. Tap the switch next to Mobile data to turn on or off.
