Battery saving mode

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Battery > Battery saver.
  3. Select desired Battery saver mode:
    • Off
    • Extended
    • Maximum
  4. If selecting Maximum mode, review the pop-up message and tap TURN ON.


Battery saving mode settings

  1. If Extended mode has been selected, tap Edit mode to adjust these settings:
    • Max brightness (slider)
    • Disable AOD (always-on display) (on / off)
    • Disable vibration (on / off)
    • Disable background data (on / off)
  2. When done, tap SAVE.
  3. If Maximum mode has been selected, tap Edit mode to adjust these settings
    • Max brightness (slider)
    • Reduced frame rate (on / off)
    • Disable AOD (always-on display) (on / off)
    • Disable Brief notifications (on / off)
    • Disable vibration (on / off)
    • Turn off Wi-Fi & Bluetooth (on / off)
    • Restrict background activity and data (on / off)
  4. When done, tap SAVE.


Tips to save battery life

  • Change application sync settings
  • Lower screen brightness and timeout duration
  • Turn on Airplane Mode if traveling to an area without mobile signal or Wi-Fi
  • Turn off background data
  • Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Smartphone Mobile Hotspot
  • Uninstall unused apps
  • Update to the latest software


Set device to sleep when unused

Press and then quickly release the Power key to set the screen to sleep mode.
