Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and turn on Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network.


  1. Register your E911 address on My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  3. From your apps list, tap Settings > Network > Call.
  4. Tap the Wi-Fi calling switch to turn ON.


Set connection preference

To set the connection preference for the phone to use Wi-Fi calling or mobile networks, follow these steps:


  1. From your apps list, tap Settings > Network > Call.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi Calling and choose from the following connection preferences:
    • Wi-Fi preferred
    • Cellular network preferred (default)
