Turn shared content on / off

MirrorLink mirrors your phone on your car's display. Your car's system must support LG Stylo 5 to use this feature.


  1. From your list of apps, tap Settings > Network > Media server.
  2. Tap the Content sharing switch to turn it on.
  3. Tap ALLOW as prompted to allow other devices to connect.


Manage shared content

Manage your shared content and permissions of nearby devices.


  1. From your list of apps, tap Settings > Network > Media server.
  2. Adjust the following options, some may not be available unless content sharing is on:
    • Phone name
    • Content to share
    • Allowed devices
    • Not allowed devices


Turn Android Beam on / off

When this feature is turned on, you can beam app content to another NFC capable device by holding the devices close together.


  1. Turn on and connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. From the apps list, tap Settings > Network.
  3. Tap the Android Beam switch to turn it on or off.
