Learn how to block, delete and save SMS / MMS messages on the LG K40.

 

 

 

Block messages or spam

  1. From the Messaging app, tap the desired conversation.
  2. Tap the Menu icon at the top right with three dots, then tap Blocked number.
  3. Select the Delete all messages from this number check box, then tap BLOCK.

 

Unblock messages

  1. From the Messaging app, tap the Menu icon at the top right with three dots.
  2. Tap Settings > Message blocking > Blocked numbers.
  3. Tap the trash can icon.
  4. If you have more than one blocked number, choose the numbers you want to unblock.
  5. Tap REMOVE > REMOVE.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Delete, then tap DELETE.

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. To delete a conversation, touch and hold the conversation. Then tap Delete > DELETE.
  3. To delete a single message, open the conversation then touch and hold the message. Next, tap Delete > DELETE.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the coversation with the image.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.

 

SMS service center number

  1. From the Messaging app, tap the Menu icon at the top right with three dots.
  2. Tap Settings > Text Messages.
  3. View the Service center number. You cannot change it.
