Change default keyboard

  1. From your apps list, tap Settings > General > Language & keyboard.
  2. Tap Default keyboard, then select the keyboard you want to use.


Enter symbols & numbers

  • Tap the 1#+ key.
  • Tap the <> keys at the bottom left to view more symbols.
  • Tap the smiley face to access emoticons.
  • Tap the abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.


Text entry mode

  1. From your apps list, tap Settings > General > Language & keyboard.
  2. Tap On-screen keyboard > LG Keyboard.
  3. Adjust the settings as needed for the following:
    • Select languages
    • Smart toolbar (on/off)
    • Keyboard height and layout
    • Word suggestions (on/off)
    • Path input (on/off)
    • Auto-correction
      • Off
      • Mild
      • Aggressive
    • Additional settings
      • Vibrate on keypress (on/off)
      • Sound on keypress (on/off)
      • Pop-up on keypress (on/off)
      • Auto-capitalization (on/off)
      • Auto-punctuation (on/off)
      • Touch and hold time
      • Languages
      • Pen size and colors


Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Sound, then tap the switch next to LG Keyboard sound to turn it on or off.
