Use these steps to send messages on the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus.

Send a group message

  1. From the home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Compose or the + sign.
  3. At 'To', tap the Contact icon.
  4. Tap the Groups tab.
  5. Select the group.
  6. Select recipients or tap Select all.
  7. Enter the message text, then tap Send.

Send a new picture or video in a message

  1. From the home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Compose or the + sign.
  3. At 'To', enter recipient's phone number. To select a contact, tap the Contact icon.
  4. Tap Enter message and enter message text.
  5. Tap Attach.
  6. Choose one of these options:
    • Use a new picture
      1. Tap Take photo.
      2. Frame the subject.
      3. Tap the Camera button.
      4. Tap OK.
    • Use a new video
      • Tap Record video.
      • Frame the subject.
      • Tap the red Record icon to begin recording.
      • Tap the blue Stop icon to end recording.
      • Tap OK.
  7. Tap Send.

Send a saved picture or video in a message

  1. From the home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Compose or the + sign.
  3. At 'To', enter the recipient's phone number. To select from a saved contact, tap the Contact icon.
  4. Tap Enter message and enter message text
  5. Tap Attach.
  6. Select one of these options:
    • Image
    • Video
  7. Select the file you want to attach.
  8. Tap Send.
