Use these steps to manage contacts and caller groups on the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus.

Add contact

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the + sign.
  3. Select an account to sync contact with:
    • Phone contact
    • SIM
    • Google
  4. Update the contact details.
  5. When finished, tap Save.

Add number to caller group

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap Groups.
  3. Tap the group you want to edit.
  4. Tap Menu > Edit group > Add members.
  5. Select the contact(s) to add.
  6. Tap Add > SAVE.

Create caller group

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap Groups > Menu > New group.
  3. Edit the New group fields.
  4. Tap the + sign next to Add members.
  5. Select the contact(s) to add.
  6. Tap Add > SAVE.

Export contacts

Export moves contacts from the SD card or SIM card.

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap Menu > Manage contacts.
  3. Tap Back up.
  4. Under 'To,' choose desired destination:
    • Internal storage
    • SD card
    • SIM card
  5. Tap OK.
  6. Select the contact(s) you want to move, or tap Select all.
  7. Tap BACK UP > Back UP.
  8. Enter a file name and tap OK.

Import contacts

Import moves contacts to the SD card or SIM card.

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap Menu > Manage contacts > Import.
  3. Under From, choose where to import from:
    • Internal storage
    • SD card
    • SIM card
  4. Under 'To,' choose destination:
    • Tablet
    • Google account
  5. Tap OK.
  6. Select the file name of the back up you wish to import..
  7. Tap IMPORT > IMPORT.

Delete contact

  1. From the 'Essentials' folder, tap Contacts.
  2. Touch and hold the contact.
  3. Tap Delete contact > DELETE.
