Manage settings

Place a call

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Dialer app.
  2. Navigate to the contact you want to video call.
  3. If they are available, a green video Camera icon will be next to their number.
  4. Tap the icon to begin.


Switch to video call

  1. From your dialer, place an audio call to a contact by pressing the phone icon.
  2. In the dialer, tap the green video Camera option to switch to a video call.
  3. Once the video call has connected, choose from these options:
    • Switch camera
    • Mute
    • Show me
    • Hide me
    • Decline
    • End call
  4. If you switch to an audio call, you cannot switch back to a video call. You must hang up and redial.


Turn on / off

T-Mobile Video Calling is auto-enabled. To disable, turn off Wi-Fi calling or VoLTE or both.


Wi-Fi Calling

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Dialer app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon > Call settings > Wi-Fi Calling.
  3. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn on or off.



  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings app.
  2. Tap the 'Network' tab > Mobile networks > Network mode.
  3. Tap the Automatic LTE/3G/2G button.
