Learn how to read the liquid damage indicator (LDI) on the LG G8 ThinQ.



View LDI

  1. Remove the SIM card tray from the top of the device.
  2. Look inside of the SIM card tray slot to view the LDI.
  3. Compare the LDI label with the images below to determine whether your device has suffered liquid damage:

    White LDI (indicates no liquid damage)


    Pink or red LDI (indicates liquid damage)

    Missing LDI (indicate damage)
