Learn how to connect to Bluetooth on the LG G6.

Pair

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the Network tab or scroll to and tap Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  3. Tap the Bluetooth switch to the ON setting.
  4. Tap SEARCH.
  5. Tap a device to pair with.
  6. If prompted, verify the passkey, and then tap Pair.
  7. If prompted, enter the PIN and tap OK.
  8. If prompted, accept the pairing on the other device.
  9. For some Bluetooth headsets, the device may pair and connect without a password or pairing request,
  10. Once connected, the device displays as connected under PAIRED DEVICES.

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. If using Tab view, select the Networks tab.
  3. Tap Bluetooth.
  4. Tap the Bluetooth switch to the ON setting.
  5. If one or more Bluetooth devices are within range, they will be listed.
  6. Choose the device you want to connect to.
  7. If the device is not listed, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the device is within range, then choose SEARCH.
  8. If the Bluetooth pairing request screen appears, verify the code and choose PAIR. If this screen does not appear, enter the PIN code of the selected Bluetooth device and choose PAIR. This code can be found in the manual of the selected Bluetooth device (usually 0000 or 1234).
  9. The connection will be made.
  10. Follow any instructions on the other device.
  11. For some Bluetooth headsets, the device may pair and connect without a password or pairing request.

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the Network tab or scroll to and tap Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  3. Tap the Bluetooth switch ON/OFF.

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. If using Tab view, select the Networks tab.
  3. Tap Bluetooth.
  4. Tap the Bluetooth switch to the ON or OFF setting.
