Use these steps to support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the LG Aristo 2 PLUS.

 

 

 

Clear app cache and data

Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

 

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap App info, then tap the desired app, then Storage.
  4. Tap Clear cache or Clear Data then YES.

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From any home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap General > Apps.
  3. Tap the filter to select the following:
    • All
    • Enabled
    • Disabled
  4. Tap the desired app, then Storage.
  5. Tap Clear cache or Clear Data then YES.

 

Update apps

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps tray icon or swipe left.
  2. Tap Play Store.
  3. Tap Menu > My Apps.
  4. To keep apps updated automatically:
    1. Tap Menu > Settings.
    2. Select the Auto-update apps checkbox.
  5. Choose one of the following options:
    • Tap Update to update all applications with updates available.
    • Tap an individual application and then tap Update to update a single application.

 

Clear recent apps

  1. From any screen, tap the Recent apps.
  2. To close an individual recent application, touch an application from the list and drag it to the right.
  3. To close all recent applications, tap the Clear all icon at bottom-right.

 

Uninstall app

Android version 8.0.0

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select the General tab or scroll to and tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap App info.
  4. Tap the desired app.
  5. Tap Uninstall, then tap OK.

 

Android version 7.1.2

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap General > Apps.
  4. Tap the filter to select the following:
    • All
    • Enabled
    • Disabled
  5. Tap the desired app.
  6. Tap Uninstall, then tap OK.
