Learn how to customize text entry and default keyboard settings on the LG Aristo 2 PLUS.

 

 

 

Change default keyboard

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select General tab or scroll to PERSONAL > tap Language & keyboard.
  3. Tap Current keyboard > SELECT MORE.
  4. Select the keyboard you want to use and tap OK.

 

Enter symbols & numbers

  • Tap the smiley1# key.
  • Tap the number and symbol keys as necessary.
  • Tap Menu > Insert smiley to access emoticons.
  • Tap the abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.

 

Text entry mode

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select General tab or scroll to PERSONAL > tap Language & keyboard.
  3. Tap LG Keyboard.
  4. Adjust the settings as needed for the following:
    • Select languages
    • [GENERAL]
    • Keyboard height and layout
    • Word suggestions (ON/OFF)
    • [ADVANCED]
    • Path input (ON/OFF)
    • Auto-correction
      • Off
      • Mild
      • Aggressive
    • More
      • [EFFECTS]
      • Vibrate on keypress (ON/OFF)
      • Sound on keypress (ON/OFF)
      • Pop-up on keypress (ON/OFF)
      • [INPUT TOOLS]
      • Auto-capitalization (ON/OFF)
      • Auto-punctuation (ON/OFF)
      • Touch and hold time
      • [HANDWRITING]
      • Languages
      • Pen size and colors

 

Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From any home screen, swipe left to locate and tap Settings.
  2. Select General tab or scroll to PERSONAL > tap Language & keyboard.
  3. Tap LG Keyboard.
  4. Tap More.
  5. Under EFFECTS, select or clear the vibrate options as necessary.
