  • YouTube Premium lets you watch videos ad-free, offline, and in the background. Your membership also includes the YouTube Music app to stream over 300 million official songs ad-free, offline, and in the background — alongside more exclusive benefits. 

    YouTube Premium Lite is a lower-priced membership that allows you to watch most YouTube and YouTube Kids videos ad-free. Most videos won’t have ads, but ads may appear on music content, Shorts, and when you search or browse. Premium Lite doesn't include YouTube Music Premium.

  • YouTube Premium On Us is T-Mobile's offer that provides YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite with an eligible plan. If you're on a T-Mix plan, your plan includes Picks, which you can use on benefits like YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite to customize your plan to your interests. Simply go to "Benefits & subscriptions" in your account to select your Picks.

    Not sure which plan you're on or how many Picks you have? Log in to your account to view your current plan and available benefits. 

  • If you already have a monthly YouTube Premium Individual or Family subscription, you can enroll in the YouTube Premium On Us offer with either:

    The same Google account you used for the original YouTube subscription. To avoid being double billed, you will need to cancel your existing YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite membership directly with YouTube or through the third-party provider you purchased from. 

    A different Google account. You can activate the YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite On Us offer and have 2 YouTube Premium subscriptions under 2 different Google accounts.

    If you have an existing annual subscription to YouTube Premium billed directly by YouTube or a third party, your YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite On Us offer will not automatically replace that subscription. It must be managed separately directly with YouTube or through the third-party provider. Any remaining months on your annual plan cannot be applied to your T-Mobile benefits.

  • If your Google account already gets YouTube Premium Lite as part of a Google AI Pro subscription, you can still activate T-Mobile's YouTube Premium On Us (or the paid add-on) using that same Google account. Your YouTube Premium benefits, as part of T-Mobile’s YouTube Premium On Us, will activate instead of your YouTube Premium Lite benefits. You will receive an email from YouTube notifying you that you have two distinct memberships, but no action is required on your end to continue receiving your benefits.

  • Only the Primary Account Holder or an authorized user can add benefits to your account. Log in to your T-Mobile account and visit "Benefits & subscriptions". Once you’ve added the service, follow the activation steps with YouTube to complete your setup.

    If you already have a YouTube Premium or Premium Lite account, you can activate this offer using your existing Google account — your settings, history, and content will not be affected. To avoid being double billed, you will need to cancel your existing YouTube Premium or YouTube Premium Lite membership directly with YouTube or through the third-party provider you purchased from.

    Note: if you have Google AI Pro then your account already includes YouTube Premium Lite If you purchase this offer, YouTube Premium benefits, as part of T-Mobile’s YouTube Premium On Us, will activate instead of your YouTube Premium Lite benefits.

  • YouTube Premium and YouTube Premium Lite allow one user per subscription plan. You cannot share an individual plan with family members. 

    If you need additional YouTube Premium or Premium Lite subscriptions, you can add Premium Lite for $8.99/month or Premium for $15.99/month through your T-Mobile benefits dashboard. Additional YouTube subscriptions will need to be activated through different Google accounts.
