What is Netflix on Us?

Netflix Basic (1-screen, a value of up to $9.99/mo) is included at no additional cost on any Go5G or Magenta plan with two or more lines, or on any Go5G Plus or Magenta MAX single line plan, including Military, 55, and First Responder plans. Any Go5G Plus or MAX plan with two or more lines includes Standard Netflix (2-screen within a household) at no additional cost (a value of up to $15.49/mo).

Who can get it?

Customers who have two or more lines of any type of Go5G, Magenta or at least one line of Go5G Plus/Magenta MAX on their account are eligible for the Netflix on Us benefit. Netflix subscription type depends on your particular voice plan. See in-store materials for specifics in your state. Activation required. Existing Netflix subscribers who are eligible for the Netflix on Us benefit are able to take advantage.

What Netflix subscription do I get?

Go5G/Magenta 2+ lines accounts and Go5G Plus/Magenta MAX single line accounts include a Netflix Basic 1-screen Full HD subscription. Go5G Plus/Magenta MAX 2+lines accounts include a Netflix Standard 2-screen HD subscription within a household. How do I activate Netflix on my account? What if I already have a Netflix account?

Log into myT-mobile and add Netflix on Us via manage add-ons. On the T-Mobile app, select Account and manage data & Add-ons. T-Mobile pays Netflix directly for you. For customers with an existing Netflix account, it may take 1-2 Netflix billing cycles for your billing to transfer to T-Mobile.

What if I don't have a Netflix account?

It's no problem! After you opt in to Netflix on Us, you will be prompted to create a Netflix account if you do not have an existing one, which will link to your T-Mobile account. T-Mobile will then pay your Netflix Basic or Netflix Standard subscription, depending on your T-Mobile voice plan. If you select a higher tier Netflix plan, you will see the upgrade cost included in your T-Mobile bill.

What is the definition of a household and what does this mean to me?

A Netflix account is meant to be shared in one household—which Netflix defines as people who live in the same Netflix household with the account owner. I have a Home Internet only account with T-Mobile. Will my household be able to continue to watch on all screens?

No impact on your service is expected within your household.

Can I add an Extra Member to my account if I’m billed by T-Mobile?

Extra Members cannot be added to Netflix accounts paid through T-Mobile. Please visit the Netflix Help Center for more information.

Is Netflix automatically included on my plan? Does it cost extra?

If you have two or more Go5G/Magenta voice lines or one or more Go5G Plus/Magenta MAX voice lines, the option to activate Netflix on Us is available on your account at no additional cost. To opt in, log into myT-mobile and add Netflix on Us via manage add-ons. On the T-Mobile app, select Account and manage data & Add-ons.

Can I stream to more devices?

With Netflix Standard you can watch on up to 2 devices at the same time, and with Netflix Premium you can watch on up to 4 devices at the same time. We pay Netflix based on your rate plan for your subscription. Discounts may apply to another Netflix streaming plan, such as Netflix Premium, and you’ll pay the upgrade cost through your T-Mobile bill.

What if I have a single line at T-Mobile. Can I still get Netflix on Us?

Yes! Customers who have at least one line of Go5G Plus or Magenta MAX on their account are eligible for the Netflix on Us benefit.

Will the T-Mobile Netflix on Us Basic plan 1-screen have ads?

No. Your Netflix on Us Basic 1 screen plan will not include ads.

Does Netflix On Us mean Netflix is free at T-Mobile?

A Netflix account is meant to be shared in one household.   Depending on your plan, you may have multiple simultaneous streams, which are designed to give people who live together, i.e. in the same household, the ability to watch different titles at the same time. If I have access to Netflix through T-Mobile billing, can someone who shares my account transfer a profile to a new account?
