DIGITS is a T-Mobile-branded app available for Android and iOS devices that can also be accessed by computer through a web client. Use the app or web client to manage your DIGITS experience.

Access is provided free of charge to all T-Mobile postpaid lines.
### DIGITS app
The free DIGITS app for Android and iOS allows you to use your DIGITS on multiple Android and iOS devices.

- DIGITS app data usage counts toward your [Domestic data roaming allotments allotment](https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/domestic-roaming-data).
- After the allotment is used, the app will not work until you return to T-Mobile coverage.
- The DIGITS app is free to all postpaid customers.
__The DIGITS app requires:__
Android 10/iOS 13 or later and a data connection
2mbps upload & download data speed
Location services enabled and permission granted to the DIGITS app
LineLink users must have a LineLink with DIGITS plan
Business accounts must have fewer than 12 lines
To access multiple lines, the lines must be linked through the [DIGITS Portal](https://digits.t-mobile.com/) or via Line Permissions settings in the DIGITS app.
### DIGITS web client
The [DIGITS web client](http://digits.t-mobile.com) allows you to use DIGITS on a computer.

### Android & iOS
Android app: The app will ask for multiple permissions, these can be skipped and the app will open, however, the permissions must be accepted for the app to function correctly. A pop-up will appear for the needed permissions and must be accepted for the app to function.
1. Make sure you are around your T-Mobile phone when you are ready to log in to the DIGITS app.
2. Open the DIGITS app.
3. Login using your T-Mobile ID. If you don't have a T-Mobile ID, [learn how to get one](https://www.t-mobile.com/support/account/set-up-and-manage-your-t-mobile-id).
- New T-Mobile IDs cannot sign into DIGITS until 24 hours have passed, or recently changed security questions within 24 hours.
4. Complete 2-factor authentication. To verify your identity, T-Mobile will send a text to your phone number.
- Or, if you have set up security questions on T-Mobile.com/profile, you can answer security questions rather than receiving a text to your T-Mobile phone.
5. If this is the first time using the app, agree to the Permissions requests.
6. The application will run through several automatic configuration screens.
7. Select to turn the desired DIGITS __On__, then choose __Continue__.
### Web client
1. Make sure you are around your T-Mobile phone when you are ready to log in on your computer.
2. In a web browser, navigate to [https://digits.T-Mobile.com](https://digits.T-Mobile.com/) and choose __Log In__. You can also download a PC or Mac client app to use DIGITS.
3. Sign in with your T-Mobile ID and password. If you don't have a T-Mobile ID, [learn how to get one](https://www.t-mobile.com/support/account/set-up-and-manage-your-t-mobile-id).
- New T-Mobile IDs cannot sign into DIGITS until 24 hours have passed, or recently changed security questions within 24 hours.
4. Complete the 2-factor authentication prompts to verify your identity through your preferred method, like a text or email message.
5. If prompted, select __Agree and continue__ to agree to the terms and conditions.
6. Choose which DIGITS you wish to use and confirm your e911 address if prompted, then select __Register__.
7. If prompted to let DIGITS access your location, select allow. You can't use DIGITS if you block your location.

### Enable users to access a line - DIGITS app
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
2. Choose __Advanced__ > __Line permissions__ and select the line you’d like to manage.
3. Choose __Share this line__ (line on the same account) or __Share with someone else__ (line on a different account) and choose who you’d like to share this line with or enter the correct info.
### Enable users to access a line - DIGITS web client
1. Go to [DIGITS.t-mobile.com](http://www.DIGITS.t-mobile.com).
2. Sign in with the Primary Account Holder's T-Mobile ID.
3. On the __Unassigned Lines__ tab, choose the line that you wish to grant a user access to.
4. Choose __Add me to this line__ to provide your T-Mobile ID with access to the line.
5. Choose __Share this line with someone else__ to provide another user access to the line.
- If the new user is not a T-Mobile customer, you can still grant them access to the line by entering their email.
- The user will receive an email with steps and a link to create a T-Mobile ID to access that line only.
### Stop specific users from accessing your DIGITS - DIGITS app
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
2. Choose __Advanced__ > __Line permissions__ and select the line you’d like to manage.
3. Choose __Edit__ > __Delete__.
### Stop specific users from accessing your DIGITS - DIGITS web client
1. Go to [DIGITS.t-mobile.com](http://www.DIGITS.t-mobile.com).
2. Sign in with your T-Mobile ID.
3. Choose the line that you wish to remove user access from.
4. Hover over the email address you wish to remove access for, and select the __Remove Line__ button.
5. If you wish to remove your access for a line on DIGITS, you can select the __Remove myself__ option.
6. You can also select __Manage signed in devices__ to sign out of any devices signed in with your T-Mobile ID.
### Stop anyone from accessing your line via DIGITS (including yourself)
1. Log into T-Mobile.com.
2. Select __Profile__.
3. Select __Multiple Devices__.
4. Toggle the "Multiple Device status" switch to the __OFF__ setting.
5. To prevent a user from having the ability to turn MDS back on, [update their T-Mobile permissions](https://www.t-mobile.com/support/account/set-up-line-permissions) to Restricted Access.

### Add a line
1. In the DIGITS app, open the __Menu__.
2. Choose __Add a Digits line__. Only the Primary Account Holder can use the DIGITS app to purchase new DIGITS lines.
### Change network settings
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__ and navigate to the Network Settings section:
- __iOS:__ Select __Advanced options__ > __Network settings__.
- __Android:__ Choose the __Menu__ icon with three lines, then select __Advanced options > Network settings__.
2. If you are on Wi-Fi or another carrier's network, you must complete another SMS confirmation in order to use your T-Mobile minutes.
1. You can choose to skip this step. This will open your DIGITS app in "Data only mode," meaning your calls will use your device's data or Wi-Fi rather than your T-Mobile plan's minutes.
2. Enter the phone number of the device you are using the app on and select __Next__. For example, if using a Verizon phone, enter the Verizon phone number.
3. Enter the six-digit code you received via SMS and select __Next__.
3. Choose from the following:
- __Cellular only:__ All your calls will use minutes from your primary line and all messages will use data.
- __Cellular fallback:__ Your primary line will continue to work normally. All other lines will use data over LTE, 4G, or Wi-Fi.
### Customize DIGITS
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
- Android: Choose the menu icon.
- iOS: Choose the Settings icon in the navigation bar.
2. Choose the desired DIGITS line to view and edit the following settings:
- Line name
- e911 address
- Voicemail greeting
- Ringtone (must be in Cellular fallback mode)
### Do not disturb - DIGITS app
Set up the Do Not Disturb feature to send calls directly to voicemail or avoid notifications for text messages and voicemails.
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
- Android: Choose the menu icon.
- iOS: Choose the Settings icon in the navigation bar.
2. Choose the desired DIGITS line.
3. Under Line settings, select __Do not disturb__.
4. Move the slider to enable do not disturb for the desired line. All notifications will stop.
### Do not disturb - DIGITS web client
Set up the Do Not Disturb feature to send calls directly to voicemail or avoid notifications for text messages and voicemails.
1. Choose the __Menu__ icon with three lines
2. Select the slider to enable __Do not disturb__ to send calls directly to voicemail. This also prevents text and voicemail notifications.
3. To disable/enable certain line notifications, select __Notifications__, then select an option:
- All notifications: Stop all line notifications
- Receive notifications
- __Calls__: stops new call notifications
- __Voicemails__: stops new voicemail notifications
- __Messages__: stops new message notifications
- Alert notifications
- __Calls__: stops sound for new call notifications
- __Voicemails__: stops sound for new voicemail notification.
- __Messages__: stops sound for new message notifications
### Manage devices
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
2. Choose __Advanced options__ > __Device Management__.
3. Select the removal icon next to the device you'd like to remotely log out.
### Turn lines on or off - DIGITS app
If you're using the DIGITS app on a device with an active SIM/eSIM, you can't use the app to turn that line on or off. Use the web client instead.
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Settings__.
- Android: Choose the menu icon.
- iOS: Choose the Settings icon in the navigation bar.
2. Choose the desired DIGITS.
3. Choose the switch next to __Line State__ to turn on or off. When a line is enabled/disabled, the primary line will receive a notification of the change.
### Turn lines on or off - DIGITS web client
1. Choose the __Menu__ icon with three lines.
2. Select __Lines__ and choose one of the available lines.
3. Select the switch next to __Register line__ to turn it on or off.
### Sync your contacts
Syncing new contacts with the DIGITS server is no longer supported. Existing contacts thathave been synced are still accessible in the DIGITS app and Web Client.
Contact linking for Google and Microsoft accounts will be available in the DIGITS app soon.
Follow the steps below to link contacts in the DIGITS Web Client
1. Open the DIGITS Web Client
2. Choose the __triple line menu__, then select __Contacts__.
3. Choose __Add a Google Account__ or __Add a Microsoft Account__
4. Follow the prompts to log-in and link the account.
### Use Cellular Fallback - Android steps
To enhance the calling experience, the Cellular Fallback feature allows DIGITS calls to be converted from data to a cellular call to help with missed call concerns (due to delayed/undelivered issues). This is a great option if you get frequent missed calls.
- If a call is not reaching the DIGITS app, the call is converted and appears in the Phone dialer instead of the DIGITS app.
- Availability for Android (DIGITS App version 2.7.0 and above).
1. From the device settings, enable ‘Appear on top / Overlay’:
1. From the device settings, select __Apps__ > __DIGITS__.
2. Choose __Appear on top__ or __Overlay__, then select the __Allow permission__ toggle to turn on.
2. From the DIGITS app, select __Settings__ > __Advanced Options__ > __Network Settings__.
3. Choose the __Cellular fallback__ toggle to enable.
4. Enter the phone number associated with the device (not the DIGITS number) in the popup that appears. A SMS message is sent to the customer’s device.
5. Enter the PIN sent to the device in the popup that appears. Cellular fallback will be enabled when the PIN is correctly entered.
### Use Cellular Fallback - iOS steps

2. Choose __Advanced Options__, then select __Network Settings__.

4. Optional steps – you’ll be asked to enter phone number only when DIGITS app fails to read native device line number:
1. Enter the phone number associated with the device (not the DIGITS number) in the popup. A text message is sent to your device.
2. Enter the PIN sent to the device in the popup that appears. Cellular fallback will be enabled when the PIN is correctly entered.

When you use DIGITS, text and picture messages that you send from your device don't show up in the conversation thread in the DIGITS app or the DIGITS website.
- __iOS__: Messages sent via iMessage will not sync in the DIGITS app. If you want to get the full conversation of sent and received messages in all instances of DIGITS, use the downloadable DIGITS app on your primary phone to send your outgoing messages.
- __Android:__ When you get a call from a verified number, you'll get a "Number Verified" pop-up screen.
### Place a call - DIGITS app
1. In the DIGITS app, select the __Dial Pad__.
2. Select which number you want to place a call from in the drop-down at the top of the screen.
3. Dial the number and select __Call__.
4. If in Cellular only mode: A popup appears with a random 413 number to dial. Press __Call__ to continue the call and you will be connected to the original number you dialed. To stop this pop-up, switch the Network Settings to Cellular Fallback.
5. (Android only) To display caller ID in "Cellular only" mode, choose __Settings__ > __Apps__ > __DIGITS__ > "Advanced" tab, and then select __Appear on top__: Allow permission.
### Place a call - DIGITS web client
1. In the DIGITS web client, select __Calls.__
2. Select __NEW CALL__.
3. Enter the contact name or number. Alternatively, select the number pad icon at the bottom to manually dial the number.
4. In the __From:__ field, choose the DIGITS you want to make the call with.
5. Choose the magenta __Call__ button.
### Conference call
1. Initiate a new call to the first contact.
2. Select __Add to Call__ in the middle, the first call will automatically be placed on hold
3. Enter the desired contact name or phone number, then select the magenta __Call__ button.
4. Once the call is connected, select __Merge Call__.
### Using your contacts - DIGITS app
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Contacts.__.
2. Use the search bar or the alphabet navigation to search your contacts.
3. Select which contact you want to call. This will pull up that contact's details.
4. Select which number you would like to call.
5. If you are using multiple lines, select which line you would like to place the call from.
### Using your contacts - DIGITS web client
1. In the DIGITS Web client, select __Contacts__ in the upper middle of the page.
2. Select __All contacts__ or the specific contact list you wish to view in the drop-down.
3. Use the search bar or scroll down to the desired contact.
4. Select the contact you want to call or message to pull up the contact details.
5. Select the number to call or message.
6. If using multiple lines, select the line to place the call or message from.
### Send a message - Android steps
1. In the DIGITS app, select __Messaging__.
2. Use the drop-down at the top of the screen if you want to only view messages for one of your lines.
3. Choose the New Message circle.
4. If you are using multiple lines: Use the top drop-down menu to select which line you want to use.
5. Use the keypad to enter a recipient or multiple recipients. You can use numbers or letters.
6. Choose __Next__.
7. Start typing your message.
8. Attach any media files using the paper clip icon.
9. Choose the arrow to send.
### Send a message - iOS steps
01. In the DIGITS app, select __Messaging__.
02. Use the drop-down at the top of the screen if you want to only view messages for one of your lines.
03. Choose the New Message icon.
04. If you are using multiple lines: Use the top drop-down menu to select which line you want to use.
05. Choose the __To:__ line.
06. Use the keypad to enter a recipient or multiple recipients. You can use numbers or letters.
07. Choose __Done__ on your keypad.
08. Start typing your message.
09. Attach media files using the photo or paper clip icons.
10. Choose the arrow to send.
### Send a message - Web client
1. Select __Messages__ in the upper-middle of the web page.
2. Select __New Message__.
3. Enter the desired contact name or phone number in the __To__ field.
4. In the __From__ line, choose the DIGITS line you want to send the message from.
5. Type your message in the __Enter Message__ field. Add extras if necessary:
- Select the paper clip icon to add a picture
- Add an emoji using the face icon.
- Add an audio message using the microphone icon.
- Choose __Send__ (paper airplane).
### Check voicemail - DIGITS app
1. From the DIGITS app, select __Calls__ on the navigation bar.
2. Choose __Voicemail__.
3. Choose the voicemail message you would like to listen to.
4. To delete a voicemail, swipe the voicemail.
5. To view voicemail only for a specific DIGITS line, use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
Change voicemail greeting (Android only)
1. Choose the __Menu__ icon with three lines.
2. Select the desired DIGITS line and choose __Voicemail greeting__.
3. Choose __Personal greeting__ to set up your custom voicemail greeting.
### Check voicemail - Web client
1. From the DIGITS web client, select the __Voicemail__ tab in the upper middle of the screen.
2. Choose the desired voicemail.
3. Once selected, download the voicemail, delete, call, or message the number by selecting the icon with three circles.
4. Alternatively, select on the picture icon to delete a voicemail, then select the trash can icon at the top.
### Transfer a call
During a call, choose __Transfer Call__ > __Switch device__. The device you're switching to must have the line you're calling from turned on.
