International Data Passes

Data passes let you temporarily add high-speed data by the day or week, whenever you need it to supplement your free data or to top-up a recurring data plan. 

 

About data passes

Sometimes you want to add some extra data to your existing plan, and that's where data passes come in. 

International Pass

 

Add a data pass

T-Life 

  1. Tap Manage.
  2. Tap the desired line.
  3. Tap Manage add-ons and data under Benefits.
  4. Scroll down and select the checkbox next to the pass you want to add.
  5. Select Continue. (An additional screen will pop-up to add to other eligible lines for PAHs)
  6. Confirm data pass selected on the Review Order screen, selected lines (if more than one was selected), and effective date.
    • If you don't select a date, it will start immediately.
    • If you future date a pass, the effective date can be changed on My T-Mobile.
  7. Select Submit Order.

T-Life add international pass 

  1. Select the Manage tab.
  2. Select See Plans.
  3. Select Manage Add-ons and data.
  4. Scroll to One-Time Data Pass.
  5. Select an International data pass option. 
  6. Select the devices (lines) you want to add the pass to, then Next.
  7. Choose an Effective date to select a start date for your pass. If you don't change the date, it will start immediately.
  8. Select Continue to confirm changes.

My T-Mobile

  1. Go to MyT-Mobile and log into your account.
  2. Click the Account tab at the top of the page or click Manage Add Ons in the "I want to"...box.
  3. Expand the line you wish to add the data pass to.
  4. Select Manage Data & Add-Ons under that line.
  5. Select the desired data pass from the list and select Continue.
  6. Select a date for the data pass to start. 
    • If you don't select a date, it will start immediately.
    • If you future date a pass, the effective date can be changed on My T-Mobile.
  7. Click Agree & Submit.

 

T-Mobile for Business plans

Use the steps on the Manage services: Account Hub page. 

 

Add a data pass: Prepaid plan

You can get a 1-day pass or a 1-week (7-day) pass. To purchase a pass on your prepaid plan:

  • Call T-Mobile customer service 1-877-746-0909 for assistance.
  • Automated account help and customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • For the hearing impaired, TTY service is available by calling 1-877-296-1018, 7 days a week, from 3 a.m.-10 p.m. PT.
  • To add prepaid Mobile Internet, log in to your T-Mobile.com account.
