- You must have an Apple Account to use Apple TV. You can use your existing Apple Account when you add Apple TV to your T-Mobile account to keep your settings and history.

Add or redeem Apple TV
Before getting started, make sure that:
- You have a T-Mobile ID.
- You are a Primary Account Holder (PAH) or Authorized User.
- If someone other than the PAH attempts to redeem with Apple, Apple will send the PAH a One-Time PIN for verification.
- If there is no PAH designated on the account, the oldest phone number will become the designated phone number.
- You do not already have an Apple TV feature added to your account.
- If you've recently ported a number to T-Mobile, wait for the port-in to complete for the best experience.
- If you already have an Apple TV account, make sure the correct information auto-populates during the redemption process.
- If you don't have an Apple TV account, you can create one during the redemption process.
Add, redeem, or check activation status via T-Mobile.com or T Life
- Log into your T-Mobile account or T Life using your T-Mobile ID.
- If you're logging in to the app, select Manage tab > See plans > Manage Data & Add-ons.
- If you're logging in to T-Mobile.com, select View details for any line on the account, then select the line under Lines and Devices. Select Manage Add-Ons in the Active Add-Ons section.
- Go to Services, choose Apple TV, then select Continue.
- Choose when you want to activate. If you select the next bill cycle, an order confirmation page will include the next bill cycle date when you can complete activation.
- Review the summary and select Agree & Submit.
- If you are eligible for and select a promotional feature, the Cost Summary will show the price after the promotion ends and will mention taxes.
- The order confirmation/details page displays.
- Select the Apple TV service to activate.
- You can only select one service at a time to activate.
- Once service is activated, a green indicator will appear next to service (can take up to 24 hours to update on screen).
- Select Start Activation.
- A text message will be sent to the primary account holder to confirm the addition of the feature to the account with an Apple TV registration link.
- If no primary account holder is set, the text message will be sent to the designated first line on the account.
- One of the following will happen depending on your device:
- iOS device:
- When your device launches the Apple TV app, select Activate Apple TV.
- Enter/verify your mobile number. A 'Subscribed to Apple TV' confirmation displays.
- Web browser or Android device:
- When the device browser launches the Apple TV web page, select Activate Apple TV.
- Select Sign in (If you don’t have an Apple ID, you will need to create one from this page).
- Enter or verify your mobile number. A 'Subscribed to Apple TV' confirmation displays.
- iOS device:
- When the browser launches the Apple TV web page, select Activate Apple TV. The Welcome to Apple TV page is displayed.
- Select Sign In.
- New Apple TV user: Create an Apple TV account.
- Existing/previous Apple TV user: Enter username/password.
- Enter or verify your mobile number. A confirmation page displays.
Redeem from text message (SMS) or email
When you add Apple TV to your account, an Apple TV redemption text message or email is sent immediately to your account so you can activate your service.
- Select the link in the text message.
- Select Start Activation.
- One of the following will happen depending your device:
- iOS device:
- iOS device launches the Apple TV app.
- Select Activate Apple TV, then enter or verify your mobile number. A 'Subscribed to Apple TV' confirmation displays.
- Web browser or Android device:
- Device browser launches the Apple TV web page.
- Select Activate Apple TV. A welcome page displays.
- Select Sign in (if you don’t have an Apple ID, you will need to create one from this page).
- Enter or verify your mobile number. A 'Subscribed to Apple TV' confirmation displays.
- iOS device:
- When the browser launches Apple TV web page, select Activate Apple TV. The Welcome to Apple TV page is displayed.
- Select Sign In.
- New Apple TV user: Create an Apple TV account.
- Existing/previous Apple TV user: Enter your username/password.
- Enter or verify your mobile number. A confirmation page displays.
Redeem as a T-Mobile for Business customer
- Eligible T-Mobile for Business customers can redeem by visiting https://www.promotions.t-mobile.com/apple.
- Enter your T-Mobile for Business phone number and select the promotion.
- Select Continue. After successful submission, use the provided link to redeem with Apple.
Apple TV subscription & billing
- Your subscription is managed through T-Mobile.
- T-Mobile acts as the method of payment for your Apple TV membership each month.
- If you remove Apple TV from your account, T-Mobile will immediately stop being your method of payment.
- To check the status of your Apple TV promotion:
- Promotion added via T-Mobile account:
- Log in to your T-Mobile account or T-Life using your T-Mobile ID.
- If you're logging in to T-Life, select Manage > See plans on any line, then select Plan Details. Select Manage Add-ons.
- If you're logging in to T-Mobile.com, select View details for any of the lines on the account, then choose the line in the Lines and Devices section. Select Manage Add-Ons in the Active Add-Ons section.
- Go to Services and select the Apple TV option. A warning message appears about feature conflict.
- Select Agree to proceed, then select Continue.
- Select Agree & Submit to remove the current option and add new subscription. Order confirmation appears.
- Log in to your T-Mobile account or T-Life using your T-Mobile ID.
- Promotion added via coupon/code: Log in to the Apple TV app and go to Profile > Manage Subscriptions > Apple TV.

T-Mobile supports
Contact T-Mobile if you need help with:
- Adding or removing Apple TV
- Getting a new Apple TV redemption text message
- Cancelling the trial version immediately
- T-Mobile plan, billing, & account management
- Basic network or hardware troubleshooting
Cancelling
- If you cancel your T-Mobile account, you will immediately lose your Apple TV membership. T-Mobile will no longer be your Apple TV method of payment and you will need to subscribe to Apple TV directly to continue your membership.
- If you cancel your Apple TV subscription through T-Mobile, the cancellation will be future-dated and you will still have access to your service to the end of the billing cycle.
To cancel, log in to T-Life or T-Mobile.com, or contact us to remove Apple TV from your account:
- Log in to your T-Mobile account or T-Life using your T-Mobile ID.
- Go to the Manage Add-Ons page:
- If you're logging in to T-Mobile.com:
- Under the I want to box, choose Manage add-ons.
- Select Account > Manage Add-ons.
- If you're logging in to T-Life, select Manage > See plans & Plan details > Manage add-ons.
- If you're logging in to T-Mobile.com:
- Deselect the Apple TV feature and choose Continue.
- Review the order. A warning message appears: 'Once removed this offer will no longer be available through T-Mobile'.
- On the Review your order page, select Agree & submit.
- Apple TV trial feature will no longer appear for selection
- Cancellation of Feature will show under Manage Data and add-ons
Apple TV subscription price change
If you pay for Apple TV through T-Mobile, your bill will automatically reflect the new $12.99 per month rate starting January 1, 2026.
- Confirm how you access Apple TV. If you’re not sure whether Apple TV is discounted with your plan, offered through a trial, or billed separately, check your T-Mobile account or your current bill in the T-Life app for details.
- Check if your plan includes discounted Apple TV. If you have one of the following plans, an Apple TV discount is included at a $9.99 monthly value:

- Magenta Plus
- ONE Plus
- Plan for your new monthly cost. Beginning January 1, 2026, you’ll pay $3.00 per month after your T-Mobile discount.
- Continue your Apple TV On Us for six months trial.
- Keep enjoying your six-month trial at no cost.
- When your trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at $12.99 per month.
- Manage your subscription in T-Life. Visit T-Life to review your Apple TV details, update billing, or remove the subscription.
