Common questions
Your first bill is due approximately 20 days after joining T-Mobile and includes a full 30 days of plan and equipment charges.

The day you joined T-Mobile. If you ordered a device, this is the day the device was shipped.
- About Day 4
Your first month’s bill will be ready to view.
- About Day 18
Your payment will process if you are enrolled in AutoPay.
- About Day 20
Your first bill is due.
- Day 30
End of monthly billing period.

Here are some things that might be going on:
Timing
Your first bill is due approximately 20 days after joining T-Mobile and includes a full 30 days of plan and equipment charges. This means that you’re billed in advance for about 10 days of service.
Promotions
Trade-in and promotional credits will be applied at time of purchase or will be on your bill. Some promotion values will be split between trade-in credit and monthly recurring credits and may not appear until your second bill. Sending us your trade-in device? Those trade-in credits won’t appear until we have received and confirmed your trade-in device.
Installments
If you’re paying for a device on an equipment installment plan, monthly equipment installment charges may not appear until your second bill.

AutoPay is a free service that automatically deducts payments from your credit card or checking account to pay your T-Mobile bill. Payments are withdrawn approximately two days before your bill due date.
By enrolling in AutoPay, you can receive a $5 credit per eligible line every month. Payment method must be a debit card or linked bank account. Credit cards and digital wallets (Apply Pay/Google Pay) are not eligible.
