Indicators

Indicator lights

Use the following table to understand the status of the indicator light:

Blinking green twice every 3 seconds

Data stick is powered on

Bllinking green once every 3 seconds EDGE registration
Blinking blue once every 3 seconds 3G registration
Blinking red Data stick is powered on and searching for the SIM card
Solid red Data stick is powered on adn searching for an available network (EDGE, 3G)
Solid green Established EDGE connection
Solid blue Established 3G connection
Off No power

Liquid Damage Indicators (LDI)

Every T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been damaged by water or other liquid, thereby voiding the warranty. To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the cover from your device.

White LDI indicates no liquid damage.

Red LDI indicates liquid damage.

Memory card

Your laptop stick supports a microSD memory card (not included with your purchase).

Insert the Memory card

To insert the memory card, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Insert the memory card into the memory card slot with the golden contacts facing the back of the laptop stick.

  3. Press the memory card in until it clicks into place.
  4. Replace the back cover.

 

Remove the Memory card

To remove the memory card, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Push in the memory card and release. The card should pop out of the slot.
  3. Replace the back cover.

 

SIM card

Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card identifies you to the wireless network. You will not be able to connect to the network without your SIM card.

SIM card - insert

To insert the SIM card, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot as shown.

  1. Remove the back cover.

  2. Slide the SIM card out of the SIM card slot.
  3. Replace the back cover.
