Indicators

Indicator lights

Use the following table to understand what status the indicator light is showing:

Light Status
Blinking green twice every 3 seconds Data stick is powered on
Blinking green once every 3 seconds EDGE registration
Blinking blue once every 3 seconds 3G registration
Blinking red Data stick is powered on and searching for the SIM card
Solid red Data stick is powered on and searching for an available network (EDGE, 3G)
Solid Green Established EDGE connection
Solid blue Established 3G connection
Off No power

Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI)

How to find the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI)

Each T-Mobile device includes an indicator that shows if it has been subjected to water, thereby voiding the warranty.
To view the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI), remove the back cover of the device.

Refer to the following illustrations to read the label:

White LDI (indicates no liquid damage) Red LDI (indicates liquid damage)

 

Memory Card

How to insert and remove the memory card

The Jet supports a microSDHCTM memory card (not included with your purchase).

Do not remove your memory card while it is in use. Removing the memory card while in use may corrupt the data stored on your memory card and damage the memory card or your Jet.

  • Slide the memory card into the memory card slot with the golden contacts facing the back side of your Jet.
  • To remove, push the card in and release. The memory card will pop out.

How to insert or remove the SIM card

To insert

  1. Remove the SIM card slot cover.

  2. Insert SIM card into the SIM card slot with the golden contacts facing down and the notched corner facing out.
  3. Replace the SIM card slot cover.

 

To remove

  1. Remove the SIM card slot cover.
  2. Pull the SIM card out and remove.
  3. Replace the SIM card slot cover.
