SyncUP TRACKER in T-Life

Use T-Life to get the most out of your T-Mobile SyncUP TRACKER.

App requirements

  • Wi-Fi: 802.11 at 2.4 GHz
  • Android 11 or later (tablets not supported)
  • iOS 16 or later (iPad not supported)

Download and login

T-Life is required. It allows you to access your items' location, notifications and more. 

Get started

  1. Ensure that the ICCID printed on back of SyncUP Tracker is updated your SyncUP Tracker line of service.
  2. Hold the SyncUP Tracker power button until the device beeps to power on.
  3. Log into the T-Life app.
  4. Select the Locate tab and choose either People or Things.
  5. Select + Add and choose Add SyncUP TRACKER > I have a Tracker device.
  6. If prompted, select to agree to push notifications.
  7. Choose how to add your SyncUP Tracker:
    • Scan QR Code: Use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code on the back of the Tracker.
    • Enter code manually: Enter the IMEI number found on the back of the Tracker, then select Next.
  8. If prompted, check the box to agree to the terms & conditions, then choose I accept.
  9. If prompted, allow Location in App Permissions.
  10. If prompted, choose Battery Optimization preference.
  11. Place the TRACKER on the charger and follow the on-screen steps to finish setting up your Tracker profile and adding the device until onboarding completes. (Note: the TRACKER device needs to remain on the charger during this onboarding step).

 

Use the app

  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. The location will appear on the map.

  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Select Virtual Boundaries and choose to add a new one.
  4. Use the map or enter the address to your desired location.
  5. Enter the rest of the information, like a boundary name and included devices, then choose Save.

  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose Get Directions.

  3. Choose Location History.
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the desired tracking mode.

  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Tracker Notifications > Light Sensor.
  4. Choose if you want the light sensors to detect Dark to Light, Light to Dark, or both light event types.

  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Tracker Notifications > Motion Alert.

  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Bell icon.
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Location Refresh.
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Manage tab.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Tap on Notifications.
  4. Tap on SyncUP Tracker.
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Cusomize to change the following:
    • Tracker Type
    • Image Type
    • Avatar
    • Device Name
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Device Information.
  1. Open T-Life.
  2. From anywhere in the app, shake your phone and select Report a bug.
  3. Choose Locate> SyncUP TRACKER to report an issue with your SyncUP TRACKER device or app.
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Locate tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Help Center.
