What to do
Stop by a store, contact us, or contact T-Mobile Prepaid for a replacement SIM. For your security, the account holder or an authorized user must make the request. Get help activating or installing a SIM.
You'll also want to make sure your LTE/VoLTE settings are turned on and your software is up to date. Get steps!
Remember to update your LTE/VoLTE settings and software

Steps for Apple software update or LTE/VoLTE settings

- From the Home screen, choose Settings > Cellular or Cellular Data.
- If you have an iPhone with an eSIM, select the line you're making changes to.
- Select Cellular Data Options, then choose the Enable LTE toggle.
- If the toggles don't display, select Voice & Data or Data and choose LTE.

VoLTE |
- From any Home screen, choose Settings > Cellular or Cellular Data > Cellular Data Options.
- If you have an iPhone with an eSIM, select the line you're making changes to.
- Select Enable LTE and choose Voice & Data.

- From the Home Screen, choose Settings > General > Software Update.
- If an update is available, select to download and install.

- Select Network Mode and choose an option that says LTE.

- Open the Settings app and choose Connections > Mobile networks.
- Slide the VoLTE calls switch to the ON or OFF position.
- If it's not there open the Phone app, press the Menu icon with three dots, and check in Settings.

- From the Home screen, choose Settings > Software update > Download and install.
- Select OK > Start. When the restart message appears, choose OK.
- Repeat these steps until the device shows you have the latest software version.
