Set up voicemail
The first time you use voicemail, you'll be asked to set up a password and greeting.
- From the Home screen, tap Phone > Voicemail > Set up now.
- Create your voicemail password.
- Choose your greeting:
- Default: Standard greeting using your mobile number.
- Custom: Custom recorded greeting. Tap Record to record a new one. Tap Play to play the current one.
Play, share, or delete a voicemail message
You can also ask Siri to do things like play your new voicemail.
- From the Home screen, tap Phone > Voicemail.
- Tap the desired message, then choose from the following options:
- Play message.
- Share message.
- Delete message.
- This will also delete the message from the T-Mobile voicemail server.
- Deleted voicemails are moved to the Delete Messages folder at the bottom of the voicemail list.
- To undelete a voicemail, tap Delete Messages, choose the desired voicemail, then tap Undelete.
Change your voicemail settings
Greeting
- From the Home screen, tap Phone > Voicemail > Greeting.
- Choose your greeting:
- Default: Standard greeting using your mobile number.
- Custom: Custom recorded greeting. Tap Record to record a new one. Tap Play to play the current one.
Password
- From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Change Voicemail Password.
- Enter your new password.
Alert
- From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
- Tap New Voicemail to chose the desired sound.
