PUK code unlock

If a SIM PIN security code has been entered incorrectly multiple times, the SIM will lock and require you to enter a PUK code to use your device again. Be careful! If you incorrectly enter your PUK code 10 times, your SIM will need to be replaced.

  1. Make sure the device is asking for a PUK. If it's asking for a PIN, try the default SIM PINs of '1234' or '5678'.
  2. If you get a prompt about a PUK code or your SIM is locked, Contact Us to request your PUK code.
  3. If you're prompted to enter the PUK code, enter it. You may need to attempt a phone call before you are prompted to enter the code.
    • Enter your PUK code in the [PUK] field.
    • Enter your SIM New PIN code in the [New PIN] field. You must enter it twice.
  4. If you're not prompted to enter a PUK code, open the phone dialer and enter SIM 1 **05*[PUK]*[New PIN] *[New PIN]# or SIM 2 **052*[PUK2]*[New PIN2]*[New PIN2]#.
    • USSD short codes must be enabled on your device for the PUK unlock code to work.
