Block messages or spam

From settings

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging > Menu > Settings.
  2. Tap Message blocking > Blocked numbers.
  3. Tap the + sign to add a new number.
  4. Select from the following:
    • Contacts
    • New number
  5. Select the contact or enter the number you wish to block.
  6. Tap Block.

From the number

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the desired text or picture message.
  3. Tap Menu > Blocked numbers.
  4. If desired, select the Delete all messages from this number check box.
  5. Tap BLOCK.
  6. The selected number is now registered as spam.

Unblock messages

From settings

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the desired text or picture message.
  3. Tap Menu > Settings > Message blocking.
  4. Tap Blocked number.
  5. Tap the trash can.
  6. Tap REMOVE.

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Delete, then tap DELETE.

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Touch and hold the text message.
  3. Tap Delete, then tap DELETE.

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.

SMS service center number

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the Menu > Settings > More.
  3. Tap Text messages.
  4. View the service center address number.
