Change default keyboard

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under 'PERSONAL,' tap Language & keyboard.
  3. Under 'KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS,' tap Current keyboard.
  4. Tap SELECT MORE.
  5. Tap to select desired keyboard

Enter symbols & numbers

  1. Tap the smiley1# key.
  2. Tap the number and symbol keys as necessary.
  3. Tap Menu > Insert smiley to access emoticons.
  4. Tap the abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.

Text entry mode

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under 'PERSONAL,' tap Language & keyboard.
  3. Under 'KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS,' tap LG Keyboard.
  4. Under 'ADVANCED,' tap to update:
    • Path input
    • Auto-correction
  5. Tap More.
  6. Under 'EFFECTS,' tap to update:
    • Vibrate on keypress
    • Sound on keypress
    • Pop-up on keypress
  7. Under 'INPUT TOOLS,' tap to update:
    • Auto-capitalization
    • Auto-punctuation
    • Touch and hold time
  8. Under 'HANDWRITING,' tap to update:
    • Languages
    • Pen size
  9. Under 'TIPS,' tap Help to access Quick Help.
