Learn how to block, delete and save SMS / MMS messages on the LG G8 ThinQ.

 

 

 

Block messages or spam

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Menu > Settings > Message blocking.
  3. Tap Blocked numbers then tap + to add the number.
  4. Select number to block from the following:
    • Contacts
    • Call logs
    • New number
  5. Follow the additional prompts based on your selection to block the number.

 

Unblock messages

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Menu > Settings > Message blocking.
  3. Tap Blocked numbers.
  4. Tap the trash can.
  5. Tap to select the numbers to unblock.
  6. Tap REMOVE.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture message.
  4. Tap DELETE.

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the text message.
  4. Tap DELETE.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.

 

SMS service center number

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap Menu > Settings > Text messages.
  3. View the Service center number.
