What's going on?
We're always working to provide you with the best network experience, but occasionally issues arise that may cause a temporary disruption in your service. If you were made aware of a potential network outage, it means that we are either performing routine maintenance on the tower you use most, or there is an unforeseen circumstance affecting the tower. While the noticeable level of impact may vary, there's a chance this situation may temporarily impact your network experience. Rest assured we are working hard to restore services, and we apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
What should I do?
- If you’re connected to Wi-Fi, turn on Wi-Fi Calling for all your calling and texting needs.
- There’s nothing else you need to do; we just want you to be aware. We’ll let you know once the network outage is resolved. Notification is usually within two days. Once resolved, you may need to power cycle your device. If you continue to experience device connection issues, please visit our device troubleshooting page.
Turn on Wi-Fi Calling for iPhone & Android
We’re working hard to fix the network issue in your area. In the meantime, here are a few tips that might help, depending on the issue you may be experiencing. If the outage is severe, your T-Mobile 5G Home Internet may not work until it’s resolved.
To maximize your connection: For web browsing or checking email
- Reduce extra internet activity like downloads, streaming, music, or video.
- Disconnect unused devices from your home network.
- Move closer to your router to improve signal strength.
- Use an Ethernet cable to connect your device directly to the router, if possible.
Stay connected with your Mobile Hotspot:
If your phone isn’t affected, try using it as a hotspot. Find the spot in your home with the best signal and turn on the hotspot feature to stay online.
