AutoPay for T-Mobile Fiber

AutoPay is a free service that automatically deducts payments from your linked bank account, debit card, or credit card to pay your T-Mobile Fiber bill. You may also get monthly bill credits on a qualifying plan when AutoPay (with an eligible payment method) is active for your entire billing cycle.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the AutoPay discount each month, you must meet the following requirements:
    • Be on an eligible plan that offers an AutoPay discount.
    • Be active on AutoPay at the time of bill processing.
    • Have paid the prior month's bill by its due date.
    • Cards with statements mailed to foreign addresses can’t be used for AutoPay.
    • Eligible payment methods:
      • Bank account (including T-Mobile MONEY)
      • Debit card
      • T-Mobile Visa Card
    • Not eligible payment methods:
      • Credit cards (Exception: The T-Mobile Visa® Card is the only eligible credit card.)
      • Apple Pay
      • Bank accounts or debit cards set up through digital wallets, such as Google Pay
  • Paying your bill early with an ineligible payment method before AutoPay processes will cause the AutoPay discount to be removed on your next bill.
  • You will see an alert notification when making a payment with an ineligible payment method, warning you that you will lose your AutoPay discount if you continue with your payment.

How to set up and manage AutoPay

  • Go to your Fiber account portal and sign-in with your T-Mobile ID for your Fiber account.
    • From the MyAccount landing page, open Billing and Payments > Payment methods > AutoPay settings.
    • Add an eligible credit/debit card or bank method and save it to your account.
    • Toggle AutoPay ON and confirm the amount, due date, and funding source.
    • You should see confirmation that AutoPay is active for your Fiber line.
  • You can also manage via the T-Life app. Go to Manage > Settings > Billing and payments > AutoPay settings to review or adjust your Fiber AutoPay once it's set up.
  • If you run into issues turning AutoPay on or it shows ineligible, contact us to verify eligibility and to fix account problems:

Payment schedule

  • Payments default to withdrawal approximately two days before your bill due date.
  • There is no processing delay after you set up AutoPay for the first time. For example, a bill due the day after AutoPay is set up could process.

Unprocessed payments

  • You'll be notified by email if AutoPay is rejected or you have an unprocessed payment.
  • Unprocessed payments are automatically reprocessed in five banking days.

AutoPay and payment arrangements

  • AutoPay will pause while on an active payment arrangement. Once your payment arrangement is successfully completed or if you delete the payment arrangement, AutoPay will resume
  • Any AutoPay discount(s) will not apply if your account is or becomes past due.
  • If the payment arrangement fails, you will be unenrolled from AutoPay.

Cancel AutoPay

Canceling your account doesn't automatically cancel AutoPay; you must cancel AutoPay separately.

  1. Go to fiber.t-mobile.com and select My Account or go directly to fiber.t-mobile.com/my-account.
  2. Sign in with your T-Mobile ID that’s linked to the Fiber account.
  3. Go to Billing & Payments > Payment methods & AutoPay settings in the account settings area (the same menu used to update payment methods and billing address).
  4. Open AutoPay settings, then toggle AutoPay off or remove the enrolled payment method from AutoPay for the Fiber subscription. This will stop automatic monthly billing and remove any AutoPay discount on eligible plans.

If you can’t complete it online or if something looks off (for example, no AutoPay option visible), you can also contact Fiber Care at 844-783-4237 or use chat from your online account and ask an agent to remove AutoPay from the Fiber line.
