Love this watch

My 11 year-old has this and it's great for us to stay in touch. The battery life is great, it needs to be charged about every 3 days. I love that I can keep track of him and he also can get a hold of his family and friends when needed via text or call. He uses the audio feature a lot to send quick voice messages when needed. This has been a game changer for me as a parent and a great segway for him to learn responsibility and care for a device before he moves to a phone in the next few years.

The watch was designed for parents and kids connection. Regrettably, the app for the kids watch is not yet ready for use. It was advertised that the watch can contact other lines with the main line's permission. However, the feature seems to be non-functional as neither I nor the store staff were able to add another line to the watch. This limits the watch's functionality to only contacting yourself or the main line, rendering it inefficient for its intended purpose.

Don’t ever get it

It’s been the worst experience with this trashy watch first it stopped working after four months then we exchanged it for 20 box then the exchanged one is old and refurbished it turned off on us every day so we have to turn it back on each time this issue happens then I asked for another exchange and guess what they sent us a very used one scratch every where and not even clean plus am stuck with it until I pay the full amount of 174 for just piece of trash Am advising anyone who wants a kids watch not to buy their watch it’s useless and doesn’t work for any other carrier If I have a voice of putting 0 stars I would

Used to be great !!!

This watch was great until they did away with the Sync Up App. I had no problem adding contacts before, now, I had to replace a broken watch, and I can't add ANY contacts that use an Apple device. Customer service said there is no issue, but I assure you, I get an error message with every single contact who owns an apple device. I'm VERY disappointed they ruined a really good product by switching App Platforms!!! I will be looking at outside providers for other options.

Adding contacts won't depend on the type of device. Please make sure when using the T-Life app, you are using the same T-Mobile ID when you initially paired your devices. Also verify you are running the most up to date app version. You can follow the steps outlined here to add contacts: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/smartwatches/t-mobile. This will be under the Important Features section on this page.

We Need the SyncUp Kids App Back Please

Terrible, charger non functional after 1 month

We had a gen1 SyncUp, and it was fine. But Tmobile bricked it when a rep accidentally transferred the number off of it (wrong line) and tried to revert - it couldn't handle the reset/revert and we had to scrap the entire device. It took many calls, but Tmo support finally replaced the device (that Tmo broke). Unfortunately the replacement was a gen2. It actually has more features on paper - my kid was happy even though they lost all their photos on the gen1. But less than a month later, it won't charge. I've wasted so many hours with this debacle, I'm not looking forward to this next round. Do yourself a favor and completely avoid this line of watches.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the charging issue: Ensure the charging dock is properly connected to a power source (USB or wall adapter). Check that the watch screen shows it's charging. Clean the contact pins on both the watch and dock with a diluted alcohol solution (2 parts water to 1 part alcohol). Then, place the watch on the dock for at least 20 minutes to see if charging begins. Verify the pogo pins on the charging dock aren’t recessed. Place the watch on the dock for 20 minutes and check if it starts charging. If the issue persists, please visit a nearby T-Mobile store to rule out a defective charging dock. If the watch still doesn’t charge on another dock, it may need to be exchanged.

Worthless without the charger

If I could give this zero stars, I would. The charger broke within two months. We thought at first it was the phone, not taking a charge. TMobile quickly replaced the phone-not the watchband, not the charger, just the phone. Same thing happened. Phone wouldn't charge. Turned out it was the charger. Called TMobile. THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT CHARGER. They said the charger is not covered by the warranty and referred me to Walmart and Amazon, neither one of which had the five-pin charger this watch requires. I either want a whole new box, with a new charger in it, or my money back, because this is worthless without the charger. WORTHLESS. I've been robbed.

Defective out of the box. Confirmed by Support

Got this for my 4yo so that she could reach us in an emergency or we could either reach her or if necessary track her. The problems with this started out of the box. The big issue was it kept factory resetting itself. In it's factory reset state it asks you to download the SyncUp Kids app and then offers to pair. There is no way to make a call or track the watch from the app when it's in this state. You need to repair it. Tmobile support confirmed this watch was defective out of the box. Instead of authorizing a device swap remembering how many other similar issues were in these reviews I just requested a return.

T-life app it's the worst

Setting up this watch is a nightmare. We used to have the old watch, which it took many T-Mobile employees to get it to work, but after 3 yrs the watch stopped working. It did its job. We decided to get a new watch, "much better" according to T-Mobile, it's still awful. Getting rid off the Sync Up watch app is the worst decision. The T Life app doesn't work properly, it won't allow us to add contacts or edit anything as it keeps saying "something went wrong, try again". I'm about to cancel, pay off the watch and throw it away. It causes more frustration than good. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Then selects a watch and go to Watch Settings to manage contacts. If you continue to experience issues with any features, please shake your phone to send us a bug report. This will help us gather the necessary information to better understand and resolve the issue.
