Social Media Guidelines

1. Application of Policy.T-Mobile” means T-Mobile USA, Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related brands. “Influencer” means an individual who creates and/or shares content about and on behalf of T-Mobile. "Social Media" includes all means of communicating or posting information or content of any sort on the Internet or any electronic/software application (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok), including to Influencer’s own or someone else’s blog, app, journal, diary, personal web site, social networking or affinity web site, web bulletin board, or chat room, and any other form of electronic communication.

2. Disclose Material Connection to T-Mobile. Influencer must make its connection to T-Mobile clear, conspicuous, and unavoidable to leave no doubt in the consumer’s mind of the connection between Influencer and T-Mobile. Sample disclosures include the use of an in-message statement such as a branded hashtag and info included in caption (e.g., “I was gifted this service by T-Mobile,” “#SponsoredByTMobile,” etc.). This connection should be disclosed regardless of space limitations of the medium and it should be prominent enough for consumers to view and understand it easily when they are reading posts (including in all livestreams). This disclosure should be visible in the first or second line of the posts without having to click on a link to expand the post. If Influencer’s content conveys an endorsement, Influencer should include any necessary disclosures on the content itself (e.g., superimposed over a TikTok video or included in the voiceover).

3. Give Honest and Truthful Opinions. Statements should always reflect honest and truthful opinions and actual experiences. Statements should not be inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill T-Mobile promotes and shall not link to, or include content that is sexual, violent, offensive or otherwise inappropriate for the intended audience.

4. Factual Statements Must Be Truthful and Verifiable. Only make a factual statement about T-Mobile or its competitors which has been verified by T-Mobile. Note that even if you don't expressly state a fact, it may be implied (e.g., saying “I got a deal you won’t find anywhere else” implies that T-Mobile’s offer is better than every other competitor). Any claim regarding T-Mobile or its products or services must be properly qualified and may require disclosures and material terms or conditions, which will be provided by T-Mobile. Any disclosures must be prominent and placed close to the statement about the product or service. In the rare cases where there are significant space restrictions, T-Mobile may allow links to be used provided they accurately convey the importance, nature, and relevance of the information to which it leads.

5. Promotions. Giveaways, sweepstakes or contests (collectively, “Promotions”) conducted by Influencer, or someone engaged by Influencer, are subject to applicable laws and compliance with T-Mobile's policies. If a Promotion involves the solicitation and public posting of user-generated content, entrants must be instructed to include an appropriate disclosure when posting the entry, e.g., #contest or #sweepstakes. Any Promotions must provide applicable disclaimers, a link to the complete Official Rules approved by T-Mobile and be compliant with all applicable legislation and regulations.

6. Do Not Disclose T-Mobile Confidential Information. If Influencer receives or becomes aware of information about T-Mobile, its products or services or its internal business operations (including financial information) that is not known by the general public or is subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement, Influencer shall not disclose such information. To the extent Influencer has any question whether information is confidential, contact T-Mobile directly before disclosing such information.

7. Respect Intellectual Property Rights. Only use T-Mobile intellectual property with express written permission, do not alter or modify any T-Mobile intellectual property, and comply with third-party intellectual property rights.

8. Do Not Send E-Mail/Electronic Messages on T-Mobile’s Behalf. Unless expressly requested in writing, Influencer shall not send any e-mails/electronic messages on T-Mobile’s behalf.

9. Influencer Is Responsible For Its Actions. Influencer is liable under law for its actions, which makes following these guidelines, and all other applicable laws, regulations and other legal authority, particularly important. T-Mobile will hold Influencer directly responsible for any claims which arise from Influencer’s violation of the law, these guidelines, or T-Mobile's rights.

10. Removal of Content at T-Mobile’s Request. Influencer agrees that it will immediately remove any content relating to T-Mobile, its products or services, its competitors or those associated with T-Mobile, upon T-Mobile’s notice that it finds the content objectionable. Additionally, Influencer will promptly remove any content for which it receives a legitimate complaint or which Influencer later becomes aware may be in violation of the law or any third-party rights.
