Help us kick-start careers.

With industrywide support, NextTech is designed to help kick-start telecom careers in the communities we serve by providing investment and outreach, and working with partners to deliver professional training, certification, licensing, and job placement services for eligible candidates.

The power of NextTech.

5G wireless technology is expanding across the nation. According to the Wireless Infrastructure Association, almost 400,000 people were employed in the U.S. in 2023 to build, maintain, and operate America’s cellular networks.1 As 5G infrastructure continues to grow, demand for skilled network technicians, tower crews, and commercially licensed drivers will expand.

By helping to fund program candidates, NextTech funding partners help us create opportunities for people in our communities to pursue sustainable careers in the telecom industry.

A new hire happily shakes hands with their employer at the end of a successful interview.

Three ways NextTech makes an impact.

  • Prepare.

By training, graduating, and/or certifying all eligible candidates in the program.

  • Assist.

By helping all eligible candidates with job placement services after graduating with certifications or a commercial driver’s license.

  • Support.

By providing career counseling for 12 months after job placement, from development to financial management.

Our training partners.

We’ve partnered with two exceptional education and training providers, the Learning Alliance Corporation and New Reflections Technical Institute, to deliver top-tier telecom instruction programs, industry certification, and job placement for network technicians and CDL truck drivers.

Everyone in the wireless industry—or any business that relies on wireless connectivity for operations—will realize significant value from supporting NextTech.

We invite funding partnerships at four levels.

NextTech depends on the support of organizations that build and rely on America's wireless networks. By funding program candidates for one or more years, NextTech funding-partners create real impact, advance the Network's future, and transform lives.
