T-Life Location and Privacy Disclosure

You may enable T-Life (the "App") to access and collect location data depending on which T-Life product(s)/service(s) you are using. You may enable the App to collect location data from your mobile device (sometimes referred to as phone-based location data or GPS) and location data from the T-Mobile network (“Network-Based Location”). You may also enable connected devices (the “Devices”) to be linked to the App to collect location data via these add-on Devices and services.

T-Mobile may share your data, including your location data, with its service providers to deliver these services. For more information about T-Mobile’s privacy practices, please review the following:

Phone-Based and Network-Based Location Sharing

If phone-based location sharing is enabled, the App will collect location data from your mobile device’s operating system (on your phone or tablet) to deliver the services. You will receive a request (or a pop-up) from your mobile device’s operating system to enable the location services. If Network-Based Location sharing is enabled, your location data will be collected from the T-Mobile network to deliver the services. To enable Network-Based Location services, you must sign-up for such services separately.

Both phone-based location and Network-Based Location services will allow you to display your mobile device’s proximity to (1) other Devices you manage on the App and (2) other persons you elect to share your location with via the App. Please note that T-Mobile may share your location data with its service providers to deliver these services. To deliver these services, location data will be stored by the App for up to 14 days.

For phone-based location sharing, you can disable location sharing from your mobile device and/or revoke location permissions at any time through your App settings or removing yourself from groups in the App. Doing so may limit or prevent functionality of the App’s services. For Network-Based Location sharing, you can disable location sharing by contacting Customer Care. Deleting the App will not disable Network-Based Location sharing. Please be aware that any changes to phone-based location or Network-Based Location settings (described above) may not affect your Device location settings (described below).

Device-Based Location

There are several optional services and Devices you can pair with the App that will allow you to manage the add-on Devices in your possession, such as your SyncUp products. You will be asked to consent to the sharing of location data for each Device during the pairing process. Sharing location data will begin either when (1) the Device is paired (in the case of SyncUP TRACKER and KIDS Watch) and/or (2) you plug the Device into a connected vehicle (in the case of SyncUp DRIVE). You can choose to disable Device location sharing by either (1) removing the Device from your account, (2) turning off the Device, and/or (3) unplugging the Device (in the case of SyncUP DRIVE). To delete your data, you must delete your Account through the App or contact Customer CARE. In the case of SyncUP DRIVE, to delete your account or data, you must contact Customer CARE.
