Matt Staneff is T-Mobile’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. He leads the team that’s on a mission to make T-Mobile the most loved brand in America—not just in wireless—and take the Un-carrier to the next level. Matt’s team is responsible for brand strategy and insights, digital experiences and marketing, media, commercial, sponsorships, events, offers, promos, and customer acquisition and management. Additionally, his team manages the end-to-end life cycle of T-Mobile’s consumer-facing hardware and products portfolio, deciding what products T-Mobile carries and the best way to get them into customers’ hands.

With over 17 years of experience at T-Mobile, Matt has a deep knowledge of the wireless industry and knows which levers to pull to drive results. Prior to his role as CMO, Matt held several leadership positions at T-Mobile, including EVP chief commercial officer, SVP product and customer management, SVP and VP customer loyalty, and more.

Matt holds an MBA from Seattle University and a B.S. in economics from the University of Washington. While he’s an avid runner and triathlon enthusiast, Matt gets plenty of exercise these days just trying to keep up with his wife and their two daughters.
