Jeff Simon is executive vice president and chief information officer at T-Mobile. He leads a fast-moving, customer-centric team that builds and delivers seamless digital and product experiences to win customers for life and fuel the Un-carrier’s growth.
Since joining T-Mobile in 2023, Jeff has played a central role in advancing the company’s transformation into a deeply data-informed, AI-enabled, digital-first company. He spearheaded a sweeping modernization of T-Mobile’s cybersecurity capabilities — strengthening resiliency and defense — and then expanded his scope to modernize billing, commerce and enterprise systems. Today, he leads a high-velocity, engineering-led organization that empowers teams to dream big and deliver innovation at scale.
Before T-Mobile, Jeff served as chief information security officer at FIS, the world’s largest financial technology provider, where he safeguarded systems supporting more than 20,000 institutions and $14 trillion in annual transactions. He also had senior technology and security leadership roles focused on building large-scale systems and enterprise defenses.
Jeff earned a Master of Science in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Marquette University.
