What is the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ BOGO promotion?
Starting July 28, 2017, for a limited time, new or existing customers who purchase a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ can get a second Galaxy S8 or S8+ free via a rebate of up to $800 on a Prepaid MasterCard® Card. Both smartphones must be purchased through our 24-month Equipment Installment Plan (EIP). If you cancel wireless services, remaining balance on phones becomes due. New customers must purchase a new line of service, while existing customers must add one additional line. An active, eligible rate plan for each eligible smartphone must be maintained. All lines on the account, including new add-a-lines, must remain active and in good standing until the rebate has been processed, which, on average, is 6-8 weeks from the time of activation.
Who is eligible for this promotion?
New or existing T-Mobile customers who purchase a Galaxy S8 or S8+ on EIP and purchase a new line of service or add a line of service with a qualifying rate plan will qualify for a rebate of up to $800 via Prepaid MasterCard Card.
How do I redeem this promotion and when will I receive my rebate?
- First, pay the required down payment and any applicable device taxes at time of purchase for each smartphone.
- Then, complete the mail-in-rebate at https://promotions.t-mobile.com by entering the promo code 17GS8SAMBOGO. Submit your information within 30 days of activation to request the promotion.
- Within 6-8 weeks, you’ll receive up to $800 via Prepaid MasterCard Card.
Why do I have to pay a down payment?
We can only finance devices up to $720. Because these smartphones are worth more, you will need to place a deposit on the amount over $720, plus any applicable down payment if necessary. However, the rebate is for the full value of the Galaxy S8, so you will get your down payment on that smartphone back.
I recently canceled a line on my account. Am I eligible for this promotion?
No. Customers cancelling a line on or after July 28, 2017 are not eligible for this promotion.
If I have JUMP! or JUMP! On Demand, can I still get this promotion?
- Yes. So long as you close out any obligations for your lease, have purchased both smartphones on EIP, and have added a line of service, you qualify for this promotion. This promotion cannot be used as a JUMP! On Demand upgrade.
Is there a limit to how many free or discounted Galaxy S8 or S8+ smartphones I can get with this promotion?
Yes. You can get up to six free or discounted Galaxy S8 or S8+ smartphones per account. All smartphones must be on the same account. Simply submit one rebate request per eligible account and we’ll ensure you receive each rebate you are eligible for.

No. This limited-time offer is valid only for purchases made starting July 28, 2017.
