Frequently asked questions

  • The device you are financing has a monthly recurring payment. For this promotion, we give you a monthly bill credit to offset all, or a portion of, that monthly payment for the length of the EIP Agreement. Look for the credit in the “Equipment” section on your bill each month.

  • If you return your device all EIP charges and credits will be reversed.

  • EIP financing is required to get this promotional rate on the device.

  • A BOGO promotion requires two devices to be eligible and active. Promotional credits will stop if one of the two devices is returned.

  • If you pay off your EIP early, you’ll continue to receive the promised Recurring Device Credits (RDC) as an account-level credit through the remaining months of the promotional credit period (up to 24 or 36 months). Customers enrolling July 1, 2024 and later will forfeit the remainder of their monthly RDC if they choose to pay off their EIP early.

  • Yes, multiple promotions can be on the same account, but only one EIP promotional bill credit per device.

  • Yes. See specific promotional eligibility rule for each promotion; service is required.

  • This will not impact your eligibility for the promotion. The bill credits will continue during the promotional period if my account remains in good standing.

  • Generally no, T-Mobile service is a requirement for the promotional pricing. When you cancel service, the monthly bill credits will stop and you will need to pay the full balance on your device.

    Contact us before canceling wireless service to determine if you are able to continue device payments, or credits stop & remaining balance at full price is due.

  • Yes, your bill credits will begin again and continue as long as you stay eligible for the promotion. You will not receive bill credits for the time you were not eligible.

  • Yes, taxes on the device are due at time of purchase.

  • Your promotion eligibility rules are listed on the www.T-Mobile.com/PromotionalOffers page. To find your promo ID log on your My T-Mobile account. There is also a link in the SMS you received upon offer confirmation.

  • T-Mobile doesn’t have a service contract, you can cancel your service any time you choose, but it may impact your continued eligibility for the bill credit.

    While you don’t have a service contract, you do have an EIP agreement which includes monthly payments on your device.

  • If your Equipment Installment Plan was initiated between 7/31/20 and 8/27/20 and you cancel wireless service, the promotional credits will end and the remaining EIP balance on the required finance agreement becomes due on your final bill.

    If your Equipment Installment Plan was initiated prior to 7/30/20 or after 8/28/20, you must call CARE at 1-800-TMOBILE to cancel service and request continuation of monthly installments on your eligible smartphone(s). Or, if you have already cancelled service, you must call CARE within 60 days of cancellation to request continuation of monthly installments.

  • Yes, your credit will continue for the length of the EIP agreement even if your account is suspended. However, your bill credits will stop if your account is canceled and you will need to pay the full balance on your device.

  • Your device will be covered by the manufacturer warranty if you meet their requirements. Please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance. For insurance, you will no longer be eligible for insurance on your device through T-Mobile.

  • The promotional bill credits apply to your current device and EIP agreement. Bill credits will stop if you JUMP! to a new device.

  • If your device is paid in full and has been used for 40 day or more on our network, you may request an unlock when you contact us to cancel. Once unlocked, you can use your device with the carrier of your choice.

  • Yes, as long as you have available credit on your account, you are able to have multiple EIP agreements on the same line (Example: phone EIP and accessory EIP). However, you are not able to have multiple EIP promotional bill credits on the same device.

  • If your Equipment Installment Plan was initiated between 7/31/20 and 8/27/20 and you cancel wireless service the promotional credits will end and the remaining EIP balance on the required finance agreement becomes due on your final bill, regardless of the device associated to the EIP.

    Any voice device that has an EIP with a qualifying promotion (see promotions above to see which qualify) created on or after 7/23/2017 through 7/30/20 or after 8/28/20 qualifies for this option. Tablets, Mobile Internet devices, and Accessories do not qualify.

  • Yes, currently you are able to take advantage of both offers.
