Un-carrier Employees & Allies gather across 32 states and Puerto Rico to promote LGBTQ equal rights awareness and acceptance
__Bellevue, Washington — June 5, 2018__
__What:__
T‑Mobile is increasing its ongoing commitment to LGBTQ Pride this year – participating in over 80 Pride events across 32 states – plus Puerto Rico! Together with our Diversity & Inclusion Pride and Allies Network, the Un-carrier™ is recognizing and celebrating individuality and equality through its ongoing support of the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and queer communities.
T‑Mobile will demonstrate #UnlimitedPride in cities around the nation, with everything from creative colorful floats, to awesome apparel. The company will be a presenting-level sponsor for events in Seattle and New York City, as well as top sponsors in San Francisco and Houston.
“As the Un-carrier, we fully embrace different cultures, perspectives and ideas – because we know it fuels innovation and creates a stronger community capable of driving positive change,” says Liz McAuliffe, executive vice-president, Human Resources, at T‑Mobile US. “Every year, thousands of T‑Mobile employees, allies and their families come together to celebrate this commitment to diversity by bringing their energy and spirit to Pride events across the country -- and we’re proud to support them in being their truly authentic selves!”

__Background:__
T‑Mobile is a brand built on listening to our employees and customers – from every region, economic class, race, sex, creed, gender identity, and sexual orientation. We believe in creating a culture – at all levels – that is as diverse as our customer base, and we will continue to work toward that every day.
We are also proud to be the most diverse wireless carrier with more than 62% of our employees representing minorities. Currently, T‑Mobile has six diversity and inclusion networks and more than 50 local chapters – with more than 17,700 employees actively participating in one or more of the networks.
This year, we aired a groundbreaking Super Bowl ad to take a stand on equality and challenge others to do the same by asking “Are You With Us?” Plus, for the fifth year in a row, we were recognized by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) with a 100% score on the Corporate Equality Index. Employers who earn 100% have satisfied all the criteria for that year and are recognized as a "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality."
